Founder, Glisten Academy I launched my eco-chic cleaning business in 2008 and grew it into an award-winning company with sales of over $1.3 million US/year by the time I was 30 years old. I then founded Glisten Academy in 2019 after becoming a business school instructor, so I could focus specifically on the cleaning industry (my fave!) I have a BA, Public Relations diploma and certificate in Web Intelligence from the University of California.

I started my own cleaning company back in 2008. I made some common mistakes in the beginning, like assuming everyone already knows how to clean, and that building a cleaning team would be the easiest part of the job. (I was SO wrong)
I grew my company to a multi-million dollar business, and while I loved it - I knew my true passion was to help other cleaning businesses glisten with success. I had a baby girl on Christmas Eve 2020 and am even more dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs achieve success with their cleaning businesses.

Founder of Glisten Academy, she has been a full-time business consultant and cleaning industry expert since 2015. She specializes in email marketing, social media marketing, web design, SEO and web analytics. Winner of more than half a dozen awards, Katie built her own multimillion-dollar cleaning business doing all her own marketing and business operations.
